Megan Nosol, M.S.Ed., M.S., CCC-SLP. holds a master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was trained in evaluating and treating head and neck cancer patients at UNC Hospital ENT clinic in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Since graduating from the UNC's SLP program in 2013, Megan has been a clinician in the skilled nursing, outpatient rehabilitation, home health, and non-profit organization settings. Megan also has a pre-medicine background and holds a master’s degree in Secondary Education, which has permitted her to use her passion for teaching to instruct webinars and courses for SLPs, such as The ARK-J Program Trismus Intervention Certification Course, “The Evolving Swallow: Managing the Effects of Chemo, Radiation, and Surgery” webinar, and “Filling in the Gaps: Missing Components of Dysphagia Therapy” course with Ed Bice, M.Ed., CCC-SLP. Megan has been the guest speaker for the popular SLP podcast, Swallow Your Pride, in the "ABCs of HNC: Important Considerations for Your Patient with Head and Neck Cancer" episode and “So You Want to Get Your PhD” episode. She also served on the 2019 ASHA Head and Neck Cancer Topic Committee.
