Neck dissection anatomy: Know your anatomy Part 2

“Know your anatomy!”

Here’s another video I found that is very informative. This video gives an excellent tutorial through those sensitive regions in the neck and demonstrates the proximity to vital landmarks, such as the vagus nerve and Internal Jugular Vein. This video is especially important when working with those patients who are s/p radical neck dissection. If you are going to skip around the video a little, I suggest the beginning portion, skip the plastic model portion in the middle and watch the last 5 minutes. Hope you find this as interesting as I do.  Also here’s a nice resource for furthering your education on anatomy: Netter’s Advanced Head & Neck Flash Cards Updated Edition, 1e (Netter Basic Science)
