Diane Wolff is a widely published author and journalist. An expert on China, she has written a number of books on Chinese history and culture. She has lived and worked in Japan. She is widely traveled in Asia where she has done independent study in art, architecture, textiles, theater and cuisine. She has worked in the field of cultural diplomacy, being a member of a cultural delegation to the People’s Republic of China under then-mayor of San Francisco, Dianne Feinstein.
